The PADI Night Diver Specialty offers a unique opportunity to witness marine life's nocturnal behaviour under the moonlight and learn a whole new way of communicating with light!

What you'll learn

You'll perform three training dives during the PADI Night Diver Specialty. You will focus on what's visible in your light's beam, controlling your buoyancy with less visual references and close buddy contact.

· Proper procedures for buoyancy control, navigation and communication

· Use of dive lights and buddy-system techniques

· Disorientation and emergency procedures

· Orientation to nocturnal aquatic life

The Scuba Gear You Will Use

All the equipment you will need is provided for the PADI Night Diver Specialty. You'll use all the basic scuba gear including a mask and snorkel, fins, a wetsuit, a buoyancy compensating jacket (BCD) that carries the scuba tank, a scuba regulator to breathe from and gauges to monitor depth and air supply. Your PADI instructor will also share with you a dive torch and compass.
